Day 1Welcome to the Land of Pharaohs

As you arrive at the international airport in Cairo you will see our representative waiting for you and ready to assist you through your formal procedures and papers. Then he will accompany you to check in a five stars hotel in Cairo.

After having some rest, in the evening you will have a delicious dinner meal on board of a luxury Nile cruise as you will enjoy marvelous belly dance and Tannoura show. Finally, you will go back to the hotel for overnight.

Day 2Visit Giza Pyramids, Memphis City, and Saqqara Pyramid

On the second day, you will have breakfast at the hotel. Then you will go on a tour exploring the Great city of Cairo starting with:

The Great Pyramids of Giza

Giza Pyramids complex is an outstanding and impressive Pharaonic monument consists of the main three pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. You will be stunned of these gigantic perfect constructions.

The Amazing Sphinx

The Great Sphinx great statue of a lion with a man head located next to the three pyramids. It was believed that sphinx is the guardian of the Pyramids and the Nile.

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple was Built during the period of Egypt old kingdom “2686 – 2134 BC“. The purpose of the temple was to handle the mummification process and pre-burial ceremonies.

Memphis Egypt is the first official capital of Egypt in history founded by King Menes in 2925 BC. The city was under the protection of Ptah an ancient god. The city was built to start a new era of Egyptian achievements.

The Saqqara Step Pyramid

Imhotep was the designer of the Step Pyramid of Saqqara. He was the minister of the king Djoser. The main goal was to make a unique pyramid with six steps to reach a height of 62 m.

At the end, you will be back to your hotel for overnight.

Day 3Explore Best Attractions of Alexandria City

On day three, in the morning you will have breakfast at the hotel. Then one of our A/C vehicles will take you to the city of Alexandria where you will start a great tour discovering the city’s attractions.

Qaitbay Citadel

On the exact same place that held the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria, in 1477 sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf Al-Din Qa’itbay built a strong defensive citadel. Qaitbay citadel served as a defensive point holding sea invasions from the north.

Alexandria Library

Alexandria library built as a remembrance of the ancient library with a large collection of books and arts varies from Arabic, English, and French as it contains and a lot of the rarest collection books in the world. 

After that, you will enjoy a delicious lunch meal at a deluxe restaurant at Alexandria while facing the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Then, you will visit:

Pompey’s Pillar

Although Pompey’s Pillar considered a foreign monument it stills one of the magnificent attractions in Alexandria. It is the highest roman column ever built outside Rome with 28 m (92 ft) height.

The Catacombs of Alexandria

The catacombs of Alexandria is a necropolis built in the second century AD. The place consists of three levels containing Greek and roman decorations, relics and artifacts.

In the end, we will get you back to your hotel in Cairo for overnight.

Day 4Witness Luxor East Attractions & Check in the Cruise

On day four, in the morning you will check out from the hotel in Cairo after your breakfast meal. Next, we will transfer you to Cairo airport where you will fly to Luxor. After your arrival in Luxor, you will visit the remarkable attractions on the east bank of Luxor city.

Karnak Temple

Karnak temple was the biggest religious construction for more than 1500 years. It was dedicated to god Amun and his wife Goddess Mut. The place now holds a number of temples, chapels, and pylons.

After that, you will take you to Check-in at a 5 stars Nile cruise then you will enjoy your tasty lunch onboard the cruise. After having some rest you will go to:

Luxor Temple by Night

Dedicated to Amun, the Luxor temple was built in 1400 BC by the orders of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. The temple is filled with magnificent columns and decorated with marvelous carvings alongside masterpiece statues.

Day 5Free Day onboar the Cruise During Sailing to Kom Ombo

In the morning you will enjoy your breakfast meal as we sail to Kom Ombo. You will enjoy a relaxing day on shipboard benefiting from the luxurious services and the elegant facilities featured by the Nile cruise.

Day 6Explore Kom Ombo Temple & Sail to Aswan City

On day six, you will enjoy your breakfast on board then you will visit:

Kom Ombo Temple

Kom Ombo temple was constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty by King Ptolemy V. The unique thing about Kom Ombo that it consists of two symmetric temples one is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the other is dedicated to Horus the falcon god.

Later you will go back to the Nile Cruise for having a delicious lunch meal while enjoying the sail to Luxor city. Overnight will be on shipboard.

Day 7Trip to the Two Temples of Abu Simbel by A/C Vehicle

Seventh-day, early morning breakfast boxes will be distributed on travelers as you will be transferred to the village of Abu Simbel by a private vehicle.

Abu Simbel Temple

Abu Simbel temples were carved into a solid rock cliff and located 240 Km southwest of Aswan city just north to sudanese borders. The temples were constructed by the great pharaoh Ramses II.

The larger one was dedicated to Amun, Ptah, and Re-Harakty and to honor the King’s achievements, the other one was built for Ramses II most beloved wife queen Nefertari and was dedicated to goddess Hathor.

Next, you will be accompanied back to the Nile cruise for having lunch & dinner meal and enjoying your stay on board. Overnight will be in Aswan on board.

Day 8Explore Aswan Attractions - Sail Back to Edfu

On the morning of day eight, you will have a breakfast meal on shipboard after that you will reveal the secrets of Aswan.

Aswan High Dam

Built on the Nile River south of Aswan between 1960 & 1970, the High Dam of Aswan project reason was to control the Nile flooding and to generate hydroelectricity.

The Unfinished Obelisk

Queen Hatshepsut was the one who ordered the construction of that obelisk to be the symbol of power and glory. The obelisk still lies at the old quarries of Aswan until today and is known as the Unfinished Obelisk of Aswan.

The Temple of Philae

Philae temple located on an island in the middle of the Nile. It was built in 690 BC dedicated to goddess Isis. It was the last classical Egyptian styled temple and it served as one of the last holy places where Isis was worshipped.

Later you will be transferred back to the Nile cruise for lunch & dinner meals and having some rest. Overnight will be on Nile cruise board.

Day 9Continue Sailing to Edfu with A Free Day onboard the Cruise

Day 10Explore Edfu Temple & Continue Sailing Back to Luxor

Edfu Temple

Edfu temple was built on the Nile riverbank at the legendary fight location between the two brother gods Set and Horus or as Ancient Egyptians believed.

Dedicated to God Horus the temple was constructed during the Ptolemaic era “237 BC – 57 BC“. The temple’s carvings are incredible and the decorations are enchanting as it combine between Greek and pharaonic.

Later on day ten, you will go back to your ship as lunch will be ready for you while sailing to Luxor. Overnight will be at Luxor city.

Day 11Explore Luxor Weast Attractions and Fly to Cairo

On the morning of the eleventh day, you will have your breakfast meal then you will disembark from the ship. After that, you will begin your tour visiting the attractions of Luxor west bank.

Valley of the Kings is a royal burial site on the west bank of the Nile deep at the heart of a mountain. It contains 63 royal tombs for a lot of the great and famous pharaohs like Rameses II, Amenhotep I and Tutankhamun as well as Hatshepsut the only female pharaoh of Ancient Egypt.

Hatshepsut Temple

Hatshepsut temple was dedicated to god Amun and the walls carved writings narrate the life and achievements of the queen. The temple is split on three stages connected by big stairs and magnificent terraces.

Next, lunch will be served at a local restaurant in the city before visiting:

Colossi of Memnon

The historical site of the Colossi of Memnon consists of two giant statues for Amenhotep III made of blocks of quartzite sandstone. Each colossus reaches the height of 18 m “60ft” and a weight of 720 tons.

Next, you will be transferred to the airport of Luxor to catch your flight to Cairo. As soon as you arrive in Cairo we will take you to a five stars hotel to check-in and overnight.

Day 12Go to the Egyptian Musuem, the Citadel & Khan El Khalili

Day twelve in the morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel then you will be taken to visit some fantastic attractions of the old Cairo:

The Egyptian Museum

The largest Museum in Egypt, the Egyptian Museum contains more than 120,000 priceless artifacts made from various materials such as gold, silver, and rare gems. Also, there are a lot of wooden and stone artifacts.

Salah El-Din Citadel

Located on the top of the Mokattam hills not far from the center of Cairo, Salah El Din Citadel is a medieval Islamic fortress and it is considered one of the most important preserved Islamic monuments in Egypt alongside its mosques & museums.

Mohamed Ali Mosque

Mohamed Ali mosque is part of the Cairo Citadel. Its design is on the Turkish style giving it that unique shape. The mosque is considered a historical site and a tourism attraction at Cairo.

The National Egyptian Museum
